President Olusegun Obasanjo's letter to PDP leader
Audu Ogbeh
10 November 2004.
Dear National Chairman
Please find attached herewith copy of a letter addressed to the Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly by the Attorney General of the Federation.
As you can see, the letter sets out in detail the facts of the criminal allegations levelled against Joshua Dariye by British Government as well as the offences disclosed by the facts both in the UK and in Nigeria.
As the leader of our party, I believe I should bring this letter to your attention for you to bring it to the attention of all the party leaders. It is my view that apart from the legal and constitutional issues raised in the letter, our party has a compelling moral duty and responsibility to do all that is needful in this matter, particularly with Plateau State Assembly if it is to remain relevant, credible and to sustain its enviable position now and in the future.
Yours sincerely,
OLUSEGUN OBASANJO
