About Dawodu.com

Dawodu.Com is the first website on Nigeria's history, politics and socio-economic issues.

It was first established by Dr. Segun Dawodu as a blog in 1996, moved initially to a free host bizland.com (segun.bizland.com)  and later moved to its one domain dawodu.com in 1998.

It had various issues with several hacking and also being forced out of some hosts because of this vulnerability leading to lost of some essential writings when the site was managed under the Joomla CMA.

It transitioned to this web host some years ago and it is highly secured which you will see in the https preceding the web url. It also has in place a security system that monitors any intrusion into the website.

In the early days, the option for html and no adverts was essential as it was a major source for undergraduate and graduate learning on Nigeria's history, political and socio-economic issues. We will continue to maintain this tradition with limited adverts to enable easy access and viewing on the site.

Thanks,

Segun Toyin Dawodu, Founder/Chief Webmaster.
