This is the 1902 Colonial Annual Report on Northern Nigeria by Lord Lugard printed in December 1903.

It is separate from that of the Southern Nigeria and the Lagos protectorate. It is of note that there was no unified entity called Nigeria at this point in time as the entity Nigeria was created by amalgamation of the three in 1914.
