Dr. Dawodu is the founder of Dawodu.com and has been a blogger since 1996 and transitioned to Dawodu.com in 1998, making it the first main blog site on Nigeria’s history, economic and socio-political issues.
He is a regular commentator with interests in global history, and political and socio-economic issues, and the reason why he created this website.
He graduated from the University of Ibadan as a physician (

LL.M in International Corporate and Commercial Law from King's College London, and an

(MS) in Medical Informatics (Digital Health/Healthcare Technology) from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA, an
MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, Baltimore, MD, USA, and an
MSc degree in Global Healthcare Leadership from the University of Oxford, Said Business School. He is an Associate of Kings's College
(AKC) in Philosophy, Theology & Ethics, has a
Diploma in Economics of Competition Law also from King's College London, a
certificate in Creative Writing from University of Pennsylvania, and is a fellow and member of many professional organisations including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Neuro-Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Royal Society of Public Health, British Computer Society, United Kingdom Digital Health and Care, Royal Society of Medicine, etc.
In the medical field, he is a licensed physician in the USA, UK, Nigeria, and Trinidad & Tobago. He is a specialist with training and qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery & Trauma, Rehabilitation Medicine, Sports Medicine, Pain Medicine/Surgery, Clinical Informatics, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, etc.
He is currently in a
Ph.D Law research study at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies(IALS), University of London’s School of Advanced Studies (SAS) with research focused on an area of intersection of Medicine, Law and Digital Health/Healthcare Technology, all three areas of his expertise.
